Enjoying my first four-fork meal, at the Wartburg castle in Eisenach:















In my last post, I mentioned that Martin Luther was in hiding here at the Wartburg for a while, but failed to mention that he also lived at the base of this castle in Eisenach while attending school from age 15-17. Not a bad place to live, if you ask me. Or to hide, for that matter. I wonder if the castle was serving four-fork meals back then.
